droprace (“we”, “us”) operates a fitness challenge app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data We Collect
Account Information
- Email address — used for authentication and account recovery.
- Display name — shown to other challenge participants.
- Profile picture — optional, visible to co-participants.
- Goal weight — optional, used for personal progress context.
Challenge & Health Data
- Weight logs — the weight values you enter, including timestamps.
- Challenge membership — which challenges you joined, your progress, and final ranking.
- Achievements — badges earned through app activity.
Transaction Data
- Purchase records — processed via RevenueCat; we store transaction metadata (product ID, duration, consumption status) to manage challenge entitlements. Payment card data is never handled by us.
Device & Usage Data
- Push notification token — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for delivering push notifications.
- Analytics data — anonymous usage events (e.g., weight logged, challenge created) collected via PostHog for product improvement.
- Crash & error data — stack traces and device metadata collected via Sentry for bug fixing and stability monitoring.
- Device metadata — OS version, app version, and locale.

How We Use Your Data
- To provide challenge, leaderboard, and achievement features.
- To send push notifications about your challenges (which you can disable in-app).
- To process and validate challenge purchases.
- To monitor app stability and fix bugs.
- To understand feature usage and improve the product.
Data Retention
- Weight logs and challenge data are retained while your account is active.
- Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed or anonymized (see Account Deletion).
Your Rights
- Access: You can view your data in the app at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the app settings, or by contacting us. See Account Deletion.
- Notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in the app settings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Weight log values are visible only to co-participants in the same challenge. We do not share health data with third-party services beyond what is listed in the table above.
